Natural Language Processing (NCHDS681)

Natural language processing (NLP) is one of the most important areas of machine learning today since machines learn to perform tasks (e.g. question answering, sentiment analysis or text translation) based on human language input.

This course will cover the fundamentals of Natural Language Processing using both Python and PyTorch.

The course is divided into two parts.

The first part of the course is about text preprocessing and the second part of the course deals with text embedding approaches.

Student will learn to understand the fundamentals of Natural Language Processing, and computing with text, develop the ability to perform operations on, and extract information from text and deploy with understanding the techniques of text embedding.
