Historical Research & Public History MA

Sit down with Mollie Charge, NCH graduate (History with Philosophy BA) and part-time postgraduate student (Historical Research & Public History MA).

The MA Historical Research & Public History combines the traditional academic technique of historical research with the study of history we encounter on a day-to-day basis within school curriculums and museums.

The flexibility of the part-time Masters programme at NCH allows Mollie to schedule her studies around existing work commitments.

Studying at NCH gives you access to some of the best libraries in the country, including Senate House Library (3 minutes’ walk from NCH) and the British Library. NCH History students also gain access to the National Archives to research primary sources in addition to the many museums in and around London.

Studying the NCH Historical Research & Public History MA also allows you to get involved in History Faculty research, including Ancient and Medieval History, Medieval and Renaissance Kingship, Courts and Culture, Modern Political History, the History of Political Thought, Public History, and Gender History.
