From September 2021 NCH will be headquartered at Devon House, in central London’s St Katharine Docks. This new location will combine unrivalled views of London and the Thames with a vibrant waterside environment, all in the centre of historic London.
With 38,000 square foot of space across the ground and first floors, the College’s new home will be almost six times the size of 19 Bedford Square, providing the opportunity to create vastly enhanced facilities for students and staff and space for the College to grow and evolve.
Positioned in the centre of St Katharine Docks, the College will be located just a few minutes’ walk from the Tower of London, one of the UK’s most iconic heritage sites, and Tower Bridge, one of the most instantly recognisable structures in the world.
From the start of the 2021/22 academic year lectures, seminars and tutorials will take place in Devon House. Student and Academic Support will also be located in Devon House.
Central London Location
Devon House is situated just minutes from the City, London’s Central Business District, a worldwide centre for commerce. The City is home to both the Stock Exchange and the Bank of England, as well as financial and commerce sectors, the law profession, cultural organisations and creative businesses. Modern corporate skyscrapers tower above medieval alleyways below, where there are numerous bars and restaurants to enjoy. Popular sites to visit include the iconic 17th-century St Paul’s Cathedral, or the Museum of London which traces the city’s history, and the huge Barbican arts centre, home of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO).
St Katharine Docks
An urban oasis on the Thames waterfront, St Katharine Docks are steeped in the history of London and the river upon which the city was founded.
Today, St Katharine Docks are home to dozens of restaurants, cafes, bars, and a leisure marina. The Docks boast an eclectic, year-round calendar of spectacular events from world food markets, clipper races, and Wimbledon on the big screen, to classic boat shows.

The Tower of London
The Tower of London is one of England’s most iconic structures and has been central to the history of London and England for almost a thousand years.
Built by William the Conqueror as a massive stone fortress to defend and proclaim his royal power, the Tower of London has provided a luxurious palace for medieval monarchs, becoming an infamous prison during the Wars of the Roses, Tudor era, and even during the second World War.
The Tower of London houses a vast collection of art and artefacts. Its entrance is an eight minute walk from Devon House, making it a wonderful place to indulge in culture and history.
