I think the core programme is extremely valuable. The critical thinking and applied sciences part of the course is helping to create a 'wider horizon'. It gives the students an opportunity to listen to other great academics.

The NCH Diploma
The quality of teaching is extraordinary. All the academics are experts in their fields and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge with each student. — Dr. Helmut Wagner: Father of 2015 History BA with Politics & IR Graduate
Teaching at NCH
I believe my son could have not made a better choice than NCH. The small intake allows for great attention to each student and as tough as it is to write a weekly essay, it prepares them well for exams and an intense working environment. I have nothing bad to say about this institution.
—Dr. Helmut Wagner: Father of 2015 History BA with Politics & IR Graduate
Now applying for jobs, my son realises how valuable the preparation for life after university has been at NCH. I believe the quality of teaching built on small groups and with open access to the tutors is as good if not better than any of the top universities. —

My daughter had excellent teaching at NCH. We were very pleased. She was (we believe as proud parents) always destined for a first, but she achieved a very good first and NCH may take credit for this. —

NCH was perfect for Hugo and he left a gregarious, confident and inspired individual. He was particularly motivated by the interface with lecturers and his tutor. —

NCH gives their students confidence and raises their self-esteem. They are able to tackle anything and have been told throughout their time at NCH that they can succeed, that they can do anything. The International mix of students was great.

Learning in the heart of London
It is not the 'comfortable' option, it is ambitious and asks you to step outside of your comfort zone. There is enough going on in London to have a 'university experience' without having to go a Russell Group University. Many of his peers, it almost feels as if they need to vindicate their degrees, whereas he is proud of his degree and was confident to move on and start a career. — Christopher Allcock: Father 2015 Philosophy BA with Art History Graduate
How we compare
NCH were able to bring in a good number of top-class lecturers and we attended many of the open lectures which we found very stimulating.
I believe that my daughter received a better education at NCH than I did at Cambridge. — Edward Bailey: Father of 2015 History BA (PPH) Graduate
Events at NCH
I have enjoyed watching my son grow throughout his experience at NCH. The staff appear to take a holistic approach to teaching, knowing that if they do not consider the person before them, they will not be able to consider the most appropriate pathway to inspiring and teaching them. — Mother of 2016 Politics & IR BSC with Economics and Philosophy Graduate
Our world-class faculty
NCH taught my son how to think on his feet, be resourceful and have a 'can do' attitude at NCH. James is now doing a Physical Theatre postgraduate course in Paris, taught completely in French and he is loving it. NCH gave him the confidence to take a risk. — Parents of 2016 English BA with Philosophy Graduate
Our English BA with Philosophy
The focus on employment issues within the syllabus provides an excellent grounding in excess, in my view, of that offered in other institutions, greatly aided by the size of the College and the greater personal engagement that results. George, in particular, benefited from his experience of mentoring through IntoUniversity as he is now working for them on a two-year contract. The experience of working with them whilst at NCH has provided him with a moral perspective that meant that he was keen to 'give something back' - hence his desire to work for them having completed his degree.
George chose NCH because he liked the size of the College and felt that he would be better suited to a smaller collegiate body. The willingness of the College to make him an offer, and then the support that it gave him through his studies, has played a significant part in his development into a young man of great maturity and kindness towards others. It would not be putting it too strongly to say that NCH has had a marked and permanent influence on his development.

Employability after NCH
The core programme is an absolutely excellent requirement, far superior indeed to my own time at Cambridge. It has clearly had a major extra educational value, broadening his thinking, exactly what the university experience should supply.
What was particularly valuable for my son was the one-to-one tuition and small group tutorials, suiting him so much better than general classroom teaching. Excellent, and, above all involving. —

My son has graduated and immediately found employment. This clearly speaks to the strength of his accreditation from NCH and also the preparedness of students to launch into their careers before they have even officially received their certification. — Mother of 2016 Politics & IR BSC with Economics and Philosophy Graduate
Professional development at NCH
NCH personifies intelligence, entrepreneurship, creativity, diversity and inclusion. — Caroline Keddie Mother of 2015 Philosophy BA with History Graduate.
Who we are
Miles opted to go to NCH because the Philosophy course was so attractive and he was interested in the core programme too. He started out with lots of potential and we have been very impressed with how he has turned out. Not only does his ability shine but also how he presents himself and how he is seen by others.

Our Philosophy major
The biggest strength of NCH is the teaching, the amount of contact time and the relationship between student and tutor. They get so much contact and are challenged intellectually encouraging my son and others to work hard, which was what he wanted. The whole ethos is about teaching students to the highest level. — Parents of 2016 English BA with Philosophy Graduate
