Facilities Coordinator

Previously advertised as Facilities Manager, but recently amended to Facilities Coordinator. It should be noted that the candidate who is appointed to this role may be appointed as either Facilities Coordinator or Facilities Manager, which will be guided by the appointees level of experience. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Coordinator to join New College of the Humanities.

As the first point of contact you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all building-related activities. Ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard and in accordance with lease requirement, and as a suitable and safe environment for both employees to work and as a teaching location for students and external visitors.

Recruitment and Admissions Adviser

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment and Admissions Adviser to join New College of the Humanities.

Working with the team, the role comprises two distinct functions: recruitment and admissions. It will contribute directly to the growth of the College through undertaking student recruitment initiatives throughout the UK and Europe, comprising a significant number of weeks’ travel per year.

Working within a target based team with defined KPIs, the role will be responsible for admissions processing and management, from the point of initial application to enrolment, maximising conversion in support of undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment targets.

Careers Adviser - CLOSED

NCH is looking for a Careers Adviser to work with the Dean of Careers and Visiting Fellow for Careers to offer a unique, high-quality careers service to students. The successful applicant will be responsible for helping students to make informed decisions, develop strategies and career plans as well as advising on how to present themselves effectively at interviews and cope with the transition from studying to employment.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of and extensive contacts in all or some of the following areas of the creative industries; marketing, marketing services, technology, telecoms, media, television, publishing, journalism, computer games, sport and leisure media, TV. However, they will also be able to offer some support to students whatever destination they are targeting. The job additionally involves pitching NCH to employers, finding opportunities and preparing students for interview.

With its innovative model, integrating personal and professional development into an academic programme, the College understands the importance of preparing its graduates for success after university. NCH graduates have an excellent intellectual and cultural basis for a range of careers and a track record of securing great jobs, particularly in the creative industries, professional services, policy and public service and entrepreneurial activities.
