English Taster Lecture
What are they? How can we know when we are encountering one? And what do we do when we know that we are? Can we trust a word they say – or just some of their words? In dealing with these questions, in relation to a range of nineteenth and twentieth century literature, Dr Brown will open up questions of interpretation, trust, and fictionality – some of the largest questions in literature itself.
We look forward to welcoming current Year 12 and Year 13 who are interested in studying English.
