Summary
Your study of the History with Politics & International Relations BA (Hons) will provide a full understanding of how people have lived, and how states have attempted to shape and influence those lives throughout history. You will study periods from the Roman Empire through to modern day America, drawing on complex and often contradictory sources. You will also take courses examining the practice and applications of the historical discipline itself. In the Politics & IR minor, you’ll compare the political institutions of different countries, analysing their legitimacy to dictate over their subjects and how they interact with other organisations.
