Master of Laws (LLM) Online

The online Master of Laws (LLM) program helps working lawyers master the complexities of the US law environment and global practice of law in a flexible learning format.

Total Degree Requirements: 24 semester credits

Courses offered for fall 2019 and spring 2020 semesters are below, with additional courses being rolled out throughout the year. You’ll work with your advisor on a coursework map that best meets your career goals.

Note: The Introduction to U.S. Law & Legal System course is required for students who do not have a U.S. JD.

An optional one-week on-ground immersion summer experience in the San Francisco Bay Area gives students an opportunity to learn from legal leaders at global law firms and cutting-edge technology institutions, bringing an added value to the Master of Laws online program at Northeastern.
