The new Business and Digital Transformation BSc (Hons) offers a different learning experience to position students and next generation leaders for this brave new world of work. Core features include an emphasis on aligning learning with employability and offering new models of experiential programming and industry partnership. Programming will be led by faculty with relevant research and scholarly activity as well as appropriate practitioner experience.

This programme is 100% online and designed for flexibility.

Programme Structure

The programme is studied over three years and there are three terms of 12 weeks each year with a one week intensive taking place before the first term begins each year. Each year has a theme that will be the focus of the intensive, offering an overview of the year and connection of curriculum.

Teaching and Learning

The Business and Digital Transformation BSc (Hons) is taught through online lectures supplemented with class and small group collaboration and discussion opportunities. In addition to lecturers leading a class, coaches will be available for study support throughout the terms on a consistent basis. Students are paired with a coach as a bridge resource between the academic experience and career goals. The role is designed to help all students stay engaged and on-track in their learning as well as help the student navigate towards their professional goals. Read more

Students have the opportunity to participate in experiential projects and opportunities with employer partners throughout their academic journey. A final project (capstone) is required in the third year and students will work both with their coach and respective lecturers in a given area to define opportunity. A Capstone is similar to a dissertation with a practical application of the skills gained throughout the programme plus in-depth research focused on the student’s specialism..

Formative assessments are woven into the term at consistent intervals to support learner comprehension, application and practice. Summative assessments are offered at set points in the term to demonstrate mastery of learning outcomes as defined in each course.

The content of the NCH Diploma is embedded within this degree, and therefore students will not study the NCH Diploma with this programme.
