Microeconomics II

15 Credits

This course covers consumer theory and producer theory in more depth and with a greater degree of mathematical rigour than in the introductory course.

This course builds on the Introduction to Economics: Microeconomics course at Level 4, and underpins parts of the Applied Economics course at Level 6. It must be taken together with Microeconomics I.

The course is based on the textbook Intermediate Microeconomics (Hal R Varian).
