Microeconomics I

This course covers consumer theory and producer theory in more depth and with a greater degree of mathematical rigour than in the introductory course. The course can be taken alongside Microeconomics II.

This course builds on the Introduction to Economics: Microeconomics course at Level 4, and underpins parts of the Applied Economics course at Level 6.

The course is based on the textbook Intermediate Microeconomics (Hal R Varian).
