Economics of Financial Crises is a course that enables students to gain a better understanding of the use of economic theory in the realms of both academic research and policy making.

The course uses academic papers to introduce students further to the practices of academic research in financial crises, which prepares them for work in policy making, research, or further study.

At the same time, students are encouraged to engage in the wider study of each topic covered in the course
