Economic History

Students will be introduced to elements of economic history from a variety of economic contexts.

The objective of this course is to give context to the economic theory courses the students take throughout their degree, and to enable the creative and multifaceted analysis of economic events in the real world.

Economic History aims to train students in examining economic ideas and historical events sensitively and with consideration of different types of audiences and populations, and writing about ideas and events in ways suitable for both academic and non-academic consumption.
