Art History Faculty
The parameters of Art History at NCH have been set by its faculty as widely as possible, from Europe to China, with a timespan that extends from antiquity to the contemporary. The courses include cultural surveys as well as more intense media-specific subjects including architecture, landscape, painting and ceramics.
The Faculty of Art History gives students the opportunity to see and interpret moments in history through their architecture and material culture.
Dr Patrycja Kaszynska is Course Leader & Visiting Lecturer in Art History at NCH. She is also Research Associate, Culture, King’s College London. Prior to this, she was Project Manager for the Cultural Value Scoping Project. She has worked in policy research for a number of political organisations and think tanks and in the higher education sector.
Hear from our students
NCH is on the doorstep of some of the most incredible galleries and museums in the world. The chance to study Islamic Art, five minutes from where many of the objects are kept in the British Museum is amazing.
