Head of Quality Assurance

Michele is responsible for managing the quality assurance and enhancement aspects of the College’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She leads projects relating to the annual quality cycle, including yearly monitoring, student satisfaction surveys, programme and course modifications, and new programme approval events. Michele has over 14 years of quality management experience in both public and private further education providers.  She has gained experience in higher education where she has led the development of programmes at Levels 4 – 6.  She has been an active participant in gaining the Matrix Award, EABHS, BAC and Tier 4 approvals.  She has experience of producing self-assessment reports, quality improvement plans and overseeing actions to improve the quality of the student experience.

Michele is also the College’s Prevent Officer.

Kate Stoneman BSc IoE

Kate Stoneman BSc IoE

Quality Manager

Kate is responsible for managing the quality assurance and enhancement of the College’s postgraduate programmes, including new programme and course approvals. Kate holds a postgraduate diploma in Higher Education Management (IoE) and a BSc Psychology degree (Middx). Her career began at Edexcel as an international quality officer and then Pearson where she developed her project management skills in eLearning and then in the project management office. Kate then joined Regent’s University London as Project Manager for TDAP and then headed up a new project management office. Kate has experience in project management, strategic risk management and mergers and acquisitions. She also has knowledge of US accreditation systems having most recently worked for Ashridge and HULT International Business School.

Sebastian Knight

Sebastian Knight

Quality Manager

Sebastian contributes to the strengthening and development of the College’s academic standards and its assurance and enhancement policies and procedures. This includes activities in areas such as programme management, student engagement and governance management among others. He gained a BA in Digital Film Production, a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and holds QTLS from the Society for Education and Training.

Sebastian began his career in PR and marketing as a video producer and photographer before moving into education. He has been a technical and teaching assistant, a Teacher of Film and Media Studies, a middle leader for vocational course quality and a Quality Enhancement Manager for 16-18 year old students before joining NCH.
