NCH’s Iconic New Campus

Helen Cole | December 3, 2020

NCH is moving to an iconic new central London campus ready for the start of the 2021/22 academic year!

Devon House in St Katharine Docks offers a unique opportunity to create state of the art facilities for students and staff, ensuring that the College continues to deliver an exceptional learning experience, while providing more inclusive access and a vibrant campus environment.

Positioned at the centre of historic St Katharine Docks, the College will be located just a few minutes’ walk from the Tower of London, and Tower Bridge. The Devon House campus enjoys stunning river views with terraces and open areas, and is surrounded by dozens of restaurants, cafes, bars, and a leisure marina, and is part of a dynamic waterside community.

Devon House is situated just minutes from the City, London’s Central Business District, a worldwide centre for commerce. The City of London is a historic financial district, home to both the Stock Exchange and the Bank of England, the financial and commerce sectors, as well as the law profession, cultural organisations and creative businesses. Modern corporate skyscrapers tower above the vestiges of medieval alleyways below, where there are numerous smart bars and restaurants to enjoy. Popular sites to visit include the iconic 17th-century St. Paul’s Cathedral, or the Museum of London where you can trace the city’s history, or take in performances at the huge Barbican arts centre, home of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO).

With 38,000 square foot of space across the ground and first floors, the College’s new home will be almost six times the size of 19 Bedford Square, providing the opportunity to create vastly enhanced facilities for students and staff. This will enable the College to continue to deliver an exceptional learning experience to its current students while providing disabled access and a more inclusive environment.
